Formación

  • Más de 5 años de experiencia en ventas en la industria farmacéutica.

Opportunity Overview

As a member of the Rhythm Iberia field-based team, you will be working within the field of rare MC4R pathway diseases. As the Hospital Affairs Lead (HAL), you will own sales responsibility for IMCIVREE in Spain across its approved indications, work collaboratively within the National and International team to lead the sales strategy and serve as a trusted commercial partner to external experts and decision makers through scientific expertise, project management, network formation and service offerings.

Responsibilities and Duties

  1. Local sales responsibility for IMCIVREE
  2. Develop strong partnerships with HCPs, key external experts, payers and multidisciplinary stakeholders
  3. Deliver growth in line with expectations for the Spanish business
  4. Support development and expansion of comprehensive care programs and patient support programs
  5. Facilitate referral pathways between peripheral sites and prescribing centers
  6. Lead an omnichannel customer approach relevant for customer segmentation and individual customer preferences/objectives
  7. Accountable for using CRM system for business planning
  8. Challenge current practices to deliver the best outcomes for patients
  9. Able to discuss benefits of clinical data to improve the lives of patients (in line with approved indications), creating strong product advocacy
  10. Identify and input into key projects as part of project team, e.g. national meetings
  11. Collect and share customer and environmental insights to deliver optimal patient management
  12. Lead or support regional and national conferences and best in class local educational meetings
  13. Regularly perform market, customer & competitor observation

Ensure adherence with compliance, ethics, and general law

Lead the planning (i.e. account plans), tracking and reporting process for the territory.

Qualifications and Skills

  1. Academic degree (science or economy), MBA or PhD is a plus
  2. At least 5 years sales experience with a documented tangible track record in pharma/biotech industry in Spain
  3. Orphan/specialty experience preferred
  4. Experience with building and maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders (HCPs, specialist nurses, hospital pharmacists, payors, multi-disciplinary teams)
  5. Sound experience in facilitating referral pathways
  6. Experience with successful launches
  7. Experience and track record in use of IT based/virtual customer interaction and promotional tools
  8. Experience in site specific project management
  9. Commercial acumen and financially savvy
  10. Ability to identify opportunities, manage complexity and priorities and liaise, influence internally to ‘make it happen’ whilst being comfortable working with uncertainty
  11. Excellent communication and presentation skills - fluent in Spanish and in verbal and written English
  12. Not accepting the status quo, working with a sense of urgency to deliver results
  13. High integrity, collaborative approach

This role is field-based in Spain. Candidates applying must be willing and able to travel frequently.
