We need someone who can handle preparing food stations, cooking a high volume of food, and ensuring that all food safety and storage regulations are followed.

Our ideal candidate has food industry experience, preferably in fast food, quick service, or fast-casual restaurants, and a willingness to learn. We need a team player who is ready to work alongside other crew members and has excellent time-management skills. If this describes you, apply today.

Responsibilities

• Use thermometers to check that food has reached an appropriate temperature before serving it.
• Keep all workstations, counters, cooking equipment, and refrigerators clean and sanitary according to health and safety rules.
• Interact with visitors, vendors, and associates while maintaining a professional and positive attitude.
• Guarantee that quality food is supplied, by adhering to specified storage and waste control requirements for meats, vegetables, fruits, and dairy products.
• Establish a system of food stations and stock them with all of the necessary ingredients for the shift.

Qualifications

• Must be able to meet all safety and sanitation requirements of kitchen equipment and food storage.
• Candidates must have completed high school or received similar certification such as a GED.
• Candidates must be hardworking, detail-oriented, and have a strong work ethic.
• We prefer some experience working in the food service industry.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for working with customers and other team members.

Compensation

$17 - $20 hourly
