Formación

  • 10 years' experience with DSP, FEC, and information theory.

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Optical Communications Engineer to join our research and development team in Madrid.

This exciting opportunity allows you to be at the forefront of high-speed intensity-modulation / direct-detect systems, designing cutting-edge DSP and FEC algorithms for optoelectronic applications. You will collaborate closely with IC design teams to drive system architecture, model optical channels, and support the full development lifecycle.

You will commit to a hybrid working model, required onsite 4 days a week.

The ideal candidate will have :

  • 10 years' experience with DSP, FEC, and information theory
  • Expertise in modelling optical and electrical communication systems
  • Hands-on experience with MATLAB, C / C++, and Unix / Linux systems
  • Bonus : Knowledge of IM / DD optical communication systems and optoelectronic components
