Descripción del empleo

A key member of our technical team is required to develop and maintain automated test cases for APIs and services.
Key duties will include collaborating with developers to ensure test coverage for critical paths, owning test execution across environments, and contributing to CI/CD pipeline integration.
Troubleshooting test failures and bugs, working with the team to resolve issues quickly, and continuously improving QA automation frameworks, tooling, and processes will also be essential responsibilities.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software testing and quality assurance, with experience in Java and API testing.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and event-driven systems, such as Kafka,



would be advantageous.
Strong communication skills, a detail-oriented mindset, and proficiency in version control (Git) and CI/CD tools are also required.
We are looking for an experienced QA Automation Engineer to join our team on a freelance or contract basis until the end of 2025, with a potential view to extend.
Based in Barcelona or open to relocating there, this opportunity offers a chance to work on complex, high-impact systems used by major carriers across the globe.
Key qualifications:
