Job Position: Hydrogeologist

Tragsatec is seeking to hire a Hydrogeologist to support the execution of hydrogeological projects and mathematical modeling of aquifers in the Campo de Cartagena.

Location:

• Murcia - Tragsatec Office

Responsibilities:

• Interpretation of geophysical data.
• Supervision of borehole work, design of casing columns, and lithological column surveys.
• Interpretation of pump test data.
• Design of periodic measurements of levels and sampling campaigns, including data interpretation.
• Design and execution of isotopic sampling campaigns, with data interpretation.
• Development of conceptual models of the aquifer: hydrogeological and geochemical.
• Design and development of mathematical aquifer modeling.
• Assessment of the effectiveness of simulated measures.
• Preparation of final reports on modeling and project work.

Required Qualifications:

• Higher University Degree
• Requirements:
• Degree in Geology or equivalent Bachelor's + Master's (Bolonia Plan)
• At least 5 years of experience in hydrogeology projects
• At least 10 years of experience in mathematical aquifer modeling
• Experience in supervising borehole work and lithological column testing
• Advanced proficiency in Modflow and TRANSIN software
• Advanced skills in GIS tools: QGIS and/or ArcGIS

Desirable Qualifications:

• Between 15 and 20+ years of experience in aquifer mathematical modeling
• Experience in interpretation of electrical geophysical data
• Experience in hydrogeological work in the Campo de Cartagena
