Based in Madrid the HEOR Manager will lead the development and execution of health economics and outcomes research activities that support market access, pricing, reimbursement, and HTA strategies across Novocure’s oncology portfolio in Spain.

This is a highly visible and technical role for a market access professional who combines strong health economics expertise with strategic thinking and stakeholder engagement skills. You will be responsible for translating clinical and economic evidence into compelling value propositions, adapting global economic models to local requirements, supporting reimbursement submissions, and serving as a trusted technical partner for both internal and external stakeholders. Working cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Commercial, Global Value & Access, Finance, and external agencies, you will help shape access strategies that maximize patient access and support business growth.

What You’ll Do
  • Lead the development and execution of market access, pricing, reimbursement, and HTA strategies across Novocure’s portfolio, ensuring alignment with business objectives and product lifecycle needs.
  • Develop compelling payer‑focused value propositions and support the overall access strategy by translating clinical and economic evidence into clear, impactful narratives.
  • Adapt and localize global health economic models, including cost‑effectiveness and budget impact models, incorporating country‑specific clinical, epidemiological, and cost data to support reimbursement decisions.
  • Act as the technical HEOR expert for Spain, providing support during interactions with healthcare authorities, HTA bodies, regional decision‑makers, and other market access stakeholders.
  • Lead the preparation, adaptation, and maintenance of value dossiers, reimbursement submissions, and health economic materials, ensuring methodological rigor and alignment with local requirements.
  • Build and maintain budget impact analyses, economic models, presentations, and technical materials that effectively communicate the value of Novocure’s therapies.
  • Monitor reimbursement policies, HTA requirements, and payer landscape developments, proactively identifying risks, barriers, and opportunities to improve patient access.
  • Partner closely with Medical Affairs, Commercial, Marketing, Legal, Revenue Operations, and Global Value & Access teams to ensure a coordinated and evidence‑based market access approach.
  • Collaborate with external agencies, clinical experts, and global HEOR teams to identify evidence gaps, validate economic assumptions, and strengthen reimbursement strategies.
  • Support pricing negotiations, innovative access agreements, and market access initiatives through robust technical analysis and evidence generation.
  • Track business performance from a market access perspective, providing strategic insights that inform forecasting, planning, and decision‑making.
About You
  • Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Engineering, Business, Life Sciences, Health Sciences, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in Market Access, with significant exposure to Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR).
  • Strong experience developing, adapting, or managing health economic models, budget impact models, and value dossiers for reimbursement and HTA purposes.
  • Demonstrated understanding of health economics methodologies, including cost‑effectiveness analyses and economic modelling approaches such as Markov models.
  • Experience supporting reimbursement submissions, payer interactions, and market access strategies within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or healthcare sectors.
  • Fluent in Spanish and English, both written and spoken.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to independently develop high‑quality technical analyses and executive‑level presentations.
  • Based in Madrid or willing to work from the Madrid office within a hybrid working model.
These additional qualifications are preferred:
  • Previous experience in consulting within health economics, market access, or healthcare strategy.
  • Experience working with external HEOR or market access agencies.
  • Oncology experience is beneficial but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage confidently with senior stakeholders, healthcare authorities, and cross‑functional teams.
  • Highly autonomous, proactive, and capable of taking ownership of complex projects from strategy through execution.
  • Analytical, intellectually curious, and motivated to continuously learn and develop.
  • Comfortable working in fast‑paced and evolving environments while managing multiple priorities.
