Formación

Helpdesk Technician Role at Schiller International University

Mission: We are seeking a Helpdesk Technician to provide L1 and L2 IT support to employees, faculty, and students at the Madrid campus. This role also includes remote L2 support for the Heidelberg, Paris, and Tampa campuses when their L1 teams are unable to resolve issues.

Profile:

  • Provide L1 and L2 Helpdesk support at the Madrid campus and L2 support for other campuses, assisting staff, faculty, and students. L1 support handles basic issues, while L2 addresses intermediate problems. L3 support will be managed by another team.
  • Manage incidents and requests via a ticketing platform, ensuring prompt responses and solutions.
  • Administer the rack at Madrid campus and periodically review the network to ensure optimal cabling and configurations.
  • Perform onboarding and offboarding of staff, including IT equipment management.
  • Install and manage technological equipment in classrooms and meeting rooms, ensuring proper functioning.
  • Maintain hardware and software inventory, keeping records updated.
  • Report weekly data on open tickets, needs, and improvements to the manager.
  • Assist in organizing and executing events when necessary.

Position Requirements:

  • Advanced degree in ASIR or a university degree in computer science.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Helpdesk Technician, Systems and Network Administrator, or similar role.
  • Experience with Microsoft Azure and Microsoft Intune deployments is required.
  • Knowledge of platforms such as Zoho, Anthology, Blackboard, and Jira is valued.
  • Event organization experience is a plus.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish; French and German are assets.
