Job summary

The Product Owner role at The Cigna Group in Madrid is accountable for maximizing value delivery at the Scrum Team level. You will translate product strategy into high-quality backlog items, working closely with the Agile Product Manager to balance customer needs with business outcomes.

You will lead backlog refinement, PI planning, and collaboration with cross-functional teams including UX/UI, QA, and analytics to improve delivery, customer experience and value realization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Strong English language skills required.
• Experience in healthcare domain preferred.
• SAFe Product Owner/PM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the Agile Product Manager to align the vision, roadmap and outcomes with business strategy and customer needs.
• Lead backlog refinement and decompose features into user stories for ongoing refinement with developers and QA.
• Own Jira backlog quality and approve user stories before moving to Done/Accepted.
• Lead PI planning cycles to enable predictable team-level execution.
• Collaborate with UX/UI, analytics, and stakeholders to embed the customer voice at all stages.
