Job summary

Cigna Healthcare is seeking a Product Owner to maximize value delivery at the Scrum Team level by translating product strategy into high-quality backlog items. You will work with the Agile Product Manager to balance customer needs, business outcomes, and delivery commitments.

The role requires strong English skills, NPI readiness, and experience with Jira; healthcare domain experience is preferred. This is a full-time position based in Madrid, Spain, with collaboration across regions and time

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree required.
Experience with Jira or equivalent tool is preferred.
Strong English language skills required.

Responsibilities

Collaborate with Agile Product Manager to support product vision, roadmap, and outcomes.
Ensure delivery progress and milestones are visible and aligned with roadmaps.
Act as the voice of the customer for prioritization and backlog refinement.
Lead the decomposition of features into user stories and ensure refinement with cross-functional teams.
Own Jira backlog quality and approve user stories before moving to Done/Accepted.
Lead PI planning cycles and enable predictable execution at team level.
Collaborate with Scrum Master, QA, and UAT to track delivery, quality, and metrics.
Drive data-informed decision making and continuous improvement.
