Job summary

Cigna Healthcare is seeking a Product Owner to maximize value delivery at the Scrum Team level. You will translate product strategy into executable backlog items and work closely with the Agile Product Manager to balance customer needs with business outcomes.

You will lead backlog refinement, feature decomposition, and PI planning, collaborating with engineers, QA, and UX/UI to ensure high-quality delivery and value realization across healthcare initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree is required.
• Strong English language skills are required.
• Experience working with JIRA or equivalent tools.
• Knowledge of agile methodology (SAFe PO/PM preferred).
• Experience in healthcare industry preferred.
• Ability to interface with cross-functional partners across regions.
• Demonstrates strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Agile Product Manager to support product vision, roadmap, and outcomes.
• Own backlog priorities and ensure alignment with customer value.
• Lead decomposition of features into user stories and coordinate with developers and testers.
• Coordinate PI planning and ensure predictable execution at team level.
• Maintain Jira backlog quality and approve user stories before moving to Done/Accepted.
• Partner with UX/UI and Customer Experience to embed the customer voice in delivery cycles.
