In ARQUIMEA AEROSPACE DEFENCE & SECURITY, we develop safer and more reliable defense systems through technology, including unmanned aerial systems (UAVs), sensing systems, command and control software, and aiming systems.
We are looking for a Project Manager with the mission to coordinate the complete life of the projects assigned: planning, execution, and closure.
Tasks to be performed:
- Take full ownership of assigned projects, overseeing their entire lifecycle from planning, execution, to closure.
- Ensure all projects are completed on time, within scope, and within budget while adhering to company quality standards and procedures.
- Define project scopes and objectives, engaging all key stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility as well as effective risk management.
- Manage project communications, maintaining close collaboration with stakeholders such as subcontractors, partners, and customers.
- Identify potential project risks and implement mitigation strategies.
- Utilize appropriate verification methods to track and control changes in project scope, timeline, and costs.
- Provide regular reports and escalate issues to management when necessary.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
Required skills, experience and candidate profile:
- University degree in Engineering. Specialization in Aerospace, Electronics, Mechanical, Telecommunications or equivalent.
- Relevant experience (more than 4 years) managing engineering projects.
- Experience in Defense sector projects is desirable.
- Knowledge of Project Management methodologies (e.g., PMI methodologies). PMP certification is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies is desirable.
- Proficient in MS Office Suite.
- Proficient in MS Project. Experience in Project Server is desirable.
- Proactive, autonomous and team player.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills. Comfortable dealing with customers and suppliers.
- Eligible to work in the EU.
