What your responsibilities will be

  1. Policy monitoring and analysis at EU and national level.
  2. Develop strategic content: briefings, position papers, and actionable recommendations for the company.
  3. Engage with stakeholders that provide monitoring and input to company primary research.
  4. Support and coordinate different company initiatives to execute Corporate Affairs Strategies.
  5. Develop stakeholder maps and constructive relationships.
  6. Represent the company at events and/or trade associations if required.
  7. Support Corporate Affairs function on project coordination, running meetings, minutes, reports, and follow-up activities.
  8. Act as internal policy contact to Corporate Affairs.

Who you are

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skills, education, and/or ability required.   1. Degree in public policy or administration, health policy, economics, law, or a related research-based discipline.
  2. 3 years of professional experience with some involvement in public affairs, policy consulting, public institutions, trade associations, or regulated sectors.
  3. Ability to act independently and conduct research in an objective manner.
  4. Understanding of EU institutions and policy-making processes as well as familiarity with EU healthcare systems.
  5. Desirable: some understanding of the German policy landscape or healthcare system.
  6. English working knowledge and desirable German working knowledge.
  7. Critical thinking, analytical skills, and ability to synthesize complex information.
