Job Overview

The EMSE department is opening a vacancy for a HSE Process Safety Manager. The candidate will report to the HSE&LP Senior Manager.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety, hygiene, health, and environmental respect through HSE management systems, ensuring compliance with applicable legal requirements within their scope.
• Handle safety and hygiene disciplines within COTY Granollers' Prevention Service, complying with the Occupational Risk Prevention Law 31 / 1995, including responsibilities outlined in the Plant's Risk Prevention Plan as an SPP technician.
• Ensure legal compliance regarding the handling, processing, and storage of flammable products (ATEX, APQ) and chemicals, including risk assessments of processes and machinery.
• Maintain and update COTY Granollers' Self-Protection Plan, acting as the contact with authorities for related procedures.
• Act as the primary contact with the insurance company, evaluate Loss Prevention requirements, develop action proposals, and validate their execution.
• Lead the application of COTY's Construction Safety program and ensure legal compliance in construction projects (RD 1627 / 1997).
• Ensure legal compliance in the management of the Coordination of Business Activities (CAE), supporting the HSE team, and participate in contractor evaluation and approval.
• Participate in other HSE programs as a member of the Prevention Service, planning and executing preventive activities through defined action plans.
• Assist in risk assessments, work permits, and training across the COTY Granollers plant, advising departments on safety matters.
• Participate in equipment / installation change controls and new projects to incorporate and validate legal and safety requirements.
