The Research Assistant position is hosted by the Centre d’Estudis Demogràfics (CED) in Barcelona and funded to support the Health and Aging group. The role focuses on analyzing cross-national secondary data and literature reviews to advance aging research.

The candidate should be enrolled in a Master program in Sociology, Demography, or related field, with strong English skills and experience with Stata or R. The work is part-time and permanent, around 20 hours per week.

Competenze

• Completed or currently enrolled in a Master program in Sociology, Demography, Political Science, Economics, or a related field.
• Ability to conduct quantitative analysis using Stata and/or R.
• Excellent communication skills in English

• Preparing and analysing cross-national, large-scale secondary data
• Assisting with literature review
