As a Chief Technology Officer (CTO), you will be leading Peter & Sons Game Development Studio. Peter & Sons is an international game development studio composed of professionals and enthusiasts with extensive experience in mobile gaming, play-to-earn casual games, and slot games. We collaborate with top artists, programmers, mathematicians, and musicians to produce innovative, creative, and entertaining casino games.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and visionary CTO to lead Peter & Sons Games Studio, overseeing all technical aspects of our company's operations and growth.

You are a strategic thinker and a natural leader, thriving in collaborative environments. You bring ownership, accountability, and a passion for pushing technological boundaries to create and support exceptional games. You will work closely with a multicultural team of programmers and professionals, spearheading the technical vision and architecture of the company to ensure our platform remains industry-leading and compliant with regulations.

You will oversee the design, development, and deployment of our gaming platform, ensuring its scalability, reliability, and security.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead the overall technical strategy, aligning it with the company's business objectives.
• Own the architecture, design, development, and product roadmap of the gaming platform, ensuring scalability, performance, and security.
• Build and lead a high-performing engineering team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning.
• Oversee system design and development processes, making critical architectural decisions and ensuring high-quality code.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional gaming experiences.
• Stay updated on emerging technologies and trends in gaming and blockchain industries to maintain industry leadership.

What We Are Looking For

• Extensive experience in the online casino industry, preferably from the provider side, with a deep understanding of its processes.
• Strong expertise in backend development and technologies, including JavaScript, TypeScript, and Node.js. Knowledge of Rust and Kotlin is a plus.
• Experience with GitHub repositories, GitHub Actions, Terraform, Google Cloud, and managing containerized applications and cloud infrastructure.
• Proven ability to automate workflows for efficiency; experience with AI, LLMs, and Generative AI integration is a plus.
• Experience managing compliance requirements in the gambling industry.
• Experience with platform and player monitoring tools to ensure performance and security.
• Strong documentation skills for platforms, APIs, and tools.
• Experience integrating with online casino partners.
• Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent in English with strong communication skills.
• A history of impactful architectural decision-making.
• A passion for technology and gaming industry advancements.
