We are building a Talent Development function that is future-focused and driven to define the future of the workplace within a global, growing open source software company, pioneering remote-first collaboration and employment.
This is an opportunity for a person with outstanding leadership, organization, and intellect to build our Talent Development team, enhancing our leadership and people management practices in our remote setting. We are now 1,200+ colleagues across 75+ countries. We aim to create a new team to deepen our insights and effectiveness as a remote-first and globally distributed organization.
We recognize that effective remote work requires discipline and good habits. We want to invest in research to understand this, along with training, policies, and selection mechanisms that ensure consistency of behaviors. We believe we are quite experienced in remote work, but there is still much to learn. We plan to invest in research, analytics, and tooling to elevate remote collaboration, organization, and leadership. Most importantly, we want to invest in training and multi-directional communication to ensure our leadership team sets and maintains clear expectations, drives desired behaviors, and embeds effective management practices across the company.
This role is the fourth remaining Lead role in our People function, a cross-disciplinary group of organizational psychologists, engineers, analytics experts, talent scientists, and employee relations specialists. We recruit globally and aim to bring in outstanding colleagues from diverse backgrounds. The goal of the Talent Development team is to lead leaders towards a clear understanding of who we are, how we operate, and how that evolves over time.
Location: This role will be based remotely in the EMEA region.
