Nextpower in Madrid, Spain, seeks a Manager of Structural & Geotechnical Engineering to lead teams across structural, geotechnical and operations engineering on utility-scale solar tracker projects. You will guide design from concept to construction, ensuring technical excellence and adherence to European standards.

The role requires 7–10 years in the solar utility-scale sector, fluent English and Spanish, and strong leadership.

Formación

Proven experience leading engineering teams in solar/structural projects.
Strong knowledge of Eurocodes and civil design standards.
Advanced structural analysis and foundation design expertise.
Fluent in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.

Responsabilidades

Lead and manage teams of structural, geotechnical and operations engineering.
Oversee design processes for utility-scale solar tracker projects, ensuring technical excellence.
Supervise tracker layouts, foundation calculations, mechanical sets and civil construction plans.
Perform and review complex structural analysis and foundation designs for optimal placement.
Drive value engineering to reduce costs while maintaining performance.
Ensure compliance with Eurocodes and international standards.
Coordinate with regional management and cross-functional teams on standards and initiatives.
Set processes, workload prioritization, and KPI metrics for team efficiency.
