Job summary

Groupon in Madrid is seeking a Head of SEO & AI Search to own the local and global SEO strategy, combining traditional SEO with AI-enabled content and data science. You will lead an SEO team of four to five specialists and partner with Product, Engineering, Data, Paid Search and Brand.

The role demands hands-on execution, backlog ownership, setting acceptance criteria, and delivering a scalable GEO and AI search architecture across cities and categories.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large-scale SEO initiatives across multiple markets.
• Strong data-driven decision making for page structures and investments.
• Proven ability to build and manage cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

• Decide local estate coverage, city pages, and category pages with measurable impact on traffic and revenue.
• Design GEO x Category architecture and internal linking to ensure fast navigation and crawl efficiency.
• Own SEO engineering backlog, define acceptance criteria, and coordinate with Engineering, Product and Data teams.
• Oversee AI-driven content production and crawler policies across markets.
