Formación

  • Experiencia probada en la construcción y escalado de estrategias comerciales.

Overview

Solicitar empleo de Head of Sales - Travel Insurtech en Poncho

Poncho is a Swiss insurtech startup making weather insurance simple and automatic. Our products integrate directly with travel and leisure businesses across Europe to protect them and their customers from bad weather—without claims or paperwork.

We launched in November 2024 and are growing. To support our next phase of expansion across Switzerland and Europe, we’re hiring our Head of Sales.

Responsibilities
  • You will lead Poncho’s commercial strategy, focusing on growth, partnerships, and market expansion. This role combines business development, sales, product positioning, and brand leadership.
  • You’ll define our go-to-market strategy, manage key partnerships, and ensure our products remain relevant and competitive.
  • We’re looking for an entrepreneurial leader ready to take ownership of building and scaling our commercial function.
Requirements
  • Proven Business Builder – Experience in building and scaling commercial strategies, ideally in startups (founder experience is a plus)
  • Growth Expertise – Strong track record in B2B2C or B2B2B growth
  • Industry Knowledge – Experience in travel and leisure, ideally with embedded insurance
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset – Comfortable taking initiative, solving problems, and adapting quickly when plans change; able to balance strategy with hands-on execution
  • Flexible Location – Based in Western Europe, able to reach Zurich within 2 hours; comfortable working remotely
