Overview

KWS Semillas Iberica is looking for a Head of Sales Spain & Portugal (m/f/d). The main purpose of the position is to lead the cross-functional team of KWS Semillas Iberica in Sales, maximizing synergies between crops and developing a dynamic and high-performing team. This is full-time and permanent position.

Main duties and responsibilities
  • Lead the cross-functional team of KWS Semillas Iberica in Sales.
  • Oversee the annual Sales Planning & Forecast in partnership with the Head of Country of KWS Semillas Iberica, ensuring all targets are met.
  • Collaboratively plan and define sales objectives and action plans with the Sales Team, incorporating analysis of performance, market conditions, financial trends, and customer needs to achieve national goals.
  • Take the lead in restructuring our sales department with a customer centricity approach, maximizing synergies and creating a dynamic and high-performing team.
  • Promote new ideas and initiatives to revolutionize our approach to sales, ensuring we stay ahead of the curve in a rapidly evolving market.
  • Support different global processes, projects and initiatives regarding new business models.
  • Serve as a passionate ambassador for our iconic brand, representing KWS with pride and enthusiasm.
Your profile
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Agriculture or Business Administration
  • Minimum 5 years of work experience in Sales and proven track record in leadership positions
  • In-depth knowledge of the agricultural business, market trends, and the seeds, fertilizers, and crop protection sectors.
  • Knowledge of sales contracts and contract management principles
  • Fluent in Spanish and English language (verbal and written).
  • Deep understanding of local culture, laws, and regulations, with exceptional stakeholder management skills in evolving environments.
