We are currently looking for a passionate and enthusiastic Head of Sales to join our team.

The Head of Sales – Spain is responsible for leading Sabio’s commercial strategy in the Spanish market, driving revenue growth, expanding market presence, and building strong customer relationships. This role involves managing and developing a high-performing commercial team, ensuring the successful execution of sales initiatives, and positioning Sabio as a leading provider of customer experience (CX) solutions.

The role requires a strategic leader with deep industry expertise, a results-driven mindset, and the ability to engage with key stakeholders at all levels. The Head of Sales will ensure that all sales activities align with Sabio’s business objectives while adapting to the unique needs of the Spanish market.

Key Responsibilities

Sales Leadership & Market Growth

  1. Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive business growth and expand Sabio’s footprint in Spain.
  2. Lead, mentor, and develop the commercial team, fostering a high-performance culture.
  3. Own revenue targets and ensure consistent achievement of commercial objectives.
  4. Identify new business opportunities while strengthening relationships with existing clients.
  5. Maintain an in-depth understanding of market trends, customer challenges, and competitive positioning to inform sales strategies.

Client & Stakeholder Management

  1. Build and nurture strategic relationships with key customers and industry stakeholders.
  2. Act as a trusted advisor, understanding client needs and positioning Sabio’s solutions to address business challenges.
  3. Represent Sabio at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  4. Work collaboratively with presales, consulting, and marketing teams to develop tailored customer solutions.

Revenue & Performance Management

  1. Oversee the sales pipeline, ensuring accurate forecasting and deal execution.
  2. Implement sales best practices, methodologies, and processes to improve commercial performance.
  3. Drive cross-functional collaboration to support sales campaigns and go-to-market initiatives.
  4. Monitor team performance, providing coaching and development opportunities to maximize success.

Skills Knowledge and Expertise

Knowledge

  1. Sales Leadership – Proven experience leading and developing high-performing commercial teams in a B2B technology or CX solutions environment.
  2. Market Knowledge – Strong understanding of the Spanish business landscape, customer needs, and competitive trends.
  3. Strategic & Commercial Acumen – Ability to drive business growth, manage P&L, and develop revenue-generating strategies.
  4. Customer-Centric Approach – Track record of consultative selling and delivering customer-focused solutions.
  5. Stakeholder Management – Strong ability to engage with C-level executives and decision-makers.
  6. Negotiation & Deal Structuring – Expertise in managing complex sales cycles and contract negotiations.
  7. Results Orientation – Data-driven mindset with experience in tracking KPIs, optimizing sales performance, and consistently achieving targets.

Skills

  1. Experience selling CX, digital transformation, or contact centre solutions.
  2. Familiarity with cloud-based customer engagement technologies.
  3. Multilingual proficiency (Spanish and English required; additional languages are a plus).

Technologies

CRM and sales pipeline management tools (e.g., HubSpot, Microsoft Dynamics). Contact centre and CX platforms (e.g., Genesys, NICE, Avaya, Five9). AI-powered customer engagement solutions. Data analytics tools for sales forecasting and performance tracking.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related field. Proven track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets in a leadership role.

Certifications

Sales or leadership certifications (e.g., Miller Heiman, Challenger Sales, Spin Selling). Certifications related to customer experience, digital transformation, or cloud technology.
