Job summary

Experimentation Jobs is seeking a seasoned Head of Product Engineering to shape the technical vision and execution of a high-scale DSP in the AdTech space. You will lead a cross-functional team across Europe and North America, translating market opportunities into robust architecture and product strategy while driving business impact.

You will work at the intersection of Engineering, Data Science, ML, and Product Strategy to unify capabilities into a cohesive product org and deliver scalable,

Qualifications

• 10+ years of software engineering experience with large-scale real-time platforms.
• 5+ years leading multidisciplinary engineering teams of 15–20+ people.
• Strong experience in real-time bidding, advertising tech, or high-throughput distributed platforms.
• Solid understanding of ML, predictive systems, and data science; ability to lead technical teams in these domains.
• Experience across Data Engineering, Analytics, and BI.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS/Engineering or related technical field.
• Strong stakeholder management in fast-moving, entrepreneurial environments.
• Fluent Business English; relocation to Barcelona or already based in the region.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end technical and product roadmap for a large-scale DSP.
• Align Engineering, Data Science, Analytics, and BI around a unified product vision.
• Lead and grow a multidisciplinary org of ~20 engineers, data scientists, and analysts.
• Partner with Commercial, Revenue, and Sales to align priorities with market opportunities.
• Drive evolution from managed services to scalable self-service solutions.
• Foster an engineering culture where tech leaders shape product direction and business outcomes.
• Define long-term platform architecture, priorities, and product strategy.
• Balance innovation, scalability, performance, and operational excellence.
