Head of Marketing - Europe (Board Portal and ESG)

Role Overview : We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Marketing for Europe to unify and lead our marketing initiatives across both our Board Portal (Convene Board Portal) and ESG platforms (Convene Presgo). This role will integrate the marketing efforts of diverse regional teams (Spain, UK, France, Italy, Germany, and LATAM) into a cohesive strategy, working closely with regional Heads of Sales and other stakeholders to drive inbound and outbound marketing performance, optimize lead generation, enhance brand awareness, and increase customer retention through strategic upselling. A key component of this role is implementing and managing an effective Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategy leveraging HubSpot.

Responsibilities :

  • Develop and execute an integrated European marketing strategy for both Convene Board Portal and Convene Presgo, aligning closely with regional sales leadership and broader business goals.
  • Implement, manage, and continuously optimize an Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategy tailored for high-value customer segments and target accounts, utilizing HubSpot as the primary marketing automation and CRM platform.
  • Establish and monitor ABM-specific KPIs such as account engagement, deal progression, conversion rates, pipeline influence, and ROI, ensuring measurable impact and alignment with sales targets.
  • Lead, mentor, and coordinate regional marketing managers in Spain, UK, France, Italy, Germany, ensuring alignment of ABM practices, messaging, brand consistency, and campaign effectiveness.
  • Collaborate closely with the UK-based content production team, overseeing the development of engaging content for ABM initiatives, thought leadership, SEO, product positioning, and promotional activities.
  • Drive successful rebranding and positioning of Convene ESG to Convene Presgo, managing all elements of brand launch and ongoing brand management.
  • Collaborate closely with the UK-based Inbound Marketing Manager responsible for the new website, optimizing digital strategies to maximize lead generation, customer journey, and conversion rates.
  • Supervise and enhance performance-driven marketing campaigns, including ABM-specific email marketing, digital advertising, events, webinars, social media, and PR across both product lines.
  • Ensure alignment and effective collaboration with the Marketing Manager responsible for collateral and above-the-line marketing initiatives (promotional videos, brochures, webinars, etc.) for ESG products.
  • Implement clear analytics frameworks to measure, analyze, and report marketing effectiveness, ABM campaign performance, ROI, and alignment with sales outcomes.
  • Manage budgets effectively, allocating resources efficiently to achieve maximum impact.
  • Foster strong relationships with regional Heads of Sales for Board Portal, EU Heads of Sales for ESG, ensuring close alignment between marketing initiatives and sales objectives.

Requirements :

  • 8+ years of senior marketing experience, preferably within SaaS or B2B technology, with a strong track record in strategic marketing leadership across multiple regions.
  • Proven expertise in implementing and managing successful Account-Based Marketing (ABM) strategies, ideally with demonstrable hands-on experience using HubSpot for ABM.
  • Deep understanding of ABM-specific KPIs and analytical frameworks, capable of translating data into actionable insights.
  • Demonstrable expertise in inbound and outbound marketing, digital strategy, content marketing, brand management, and event-driven demand generation.
  • Experience managing multi-product marketing strategies and proven success in driving growth and customer retention through cross-selling and upselling initiatives.
  • Strong leadership skills, with experience managing geographically dispersed teams and influencing stakeholders across sales, marketing, and product management.
  • Exceptional communication, analytical, and project management skills.
  • Fluent English (mandatory), with proficiency in at least one additional language (Spanish, French, Italian, German) highly beneficial.
  • Willingness to travel within Europe as required to support regional teams and attend key events.
