The Opportunity
La Cala Resort is searching for a creative and commercially savvy Head of Marketing to lead our brand into its next era of growth and innovation. This is a pivotal leadership role where lifestyle branding meets digital strategy, and where storytelling drives bookings, engagement, and long-term loyalty.
As the Head of Marketing, you will shape how the world sees La Cala Resort—an award-winning destination for golf, leisure, wellness, real estate, and authentic Mediterranean experiences. You’ll lead a passionate marketing team, develop high-impact campaigns, and build meaningful connections with our guests, members, and global partners.
Key Responsibilities
Brand Leadership
- Champion the La Cala brand across all platforms—fusing elegance, sport, nature, and experience into a cohesive identity.
- Evolve and implement a dynamic brand strategy that reflects both tradition and forward-thinking innovation.
- Strengthen the resort’s lifestyle appeal, positioning it as the top destination for golf and resort living in Europe.
- Own the performance of our website, SEO strategy, and PPC campaigns in collaboration with agency partners.
- Lead CRM, email, and loyalty marketing initiatives to drive retention and personalized guest journeys.
- Oversee compelling digital content across platforms, including photography, video, and blog copy.
- Develop and manage a results-oriented social media strategy.
Campaigns & Communication
- Plan, manage, and execute all resort marketing campaigns—from golf and lifestyle to real estate and events.
- Partner with the Sales & F&B teams to support targeted initiatives across departments.
- Collaborate with PR firms to ensure strong media relationships and consistent earned coverage.
- Drive the creation and distribution of marketing materials and promotional collateral.
Sustainability & Innovation
- Lead La Cala’s Green Marketing Agenda, positioning sustainability as a core brand pillar.
- Explore and introduce new tools, platforms, and techniques to keep La Cala ahead of industry trends.
Leadership & Reporting
- Inspire and mentor the in-house marketing team, building a culture of creativity, accountability, and growth.
- Analyze and report on performance metrics to optimize marketing spend and campaign effectiveness.
- Report to and collaborate closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing to align strategy with resort-wide goals.
Qualifications & Experience
- 5–10 years of senior-level marketing experience, ideally in luxury resorts, lifestyle brands, or private clubs.
- Proven success with brand strategy, digital marketing, campaign execution, and team leadership.
- Native or fluent in English and Spanish ; additional languages are an asset.
- Skilled in SEO, PPC, email marketing, social media, CMS platforms, and Google Analytics.
- Experience with F&B, leisure, real estate, and events marketing in a resort context is highly desirable.
