This role involves modeling, budgeting, and providing commercial insights to the senior leadership team. The ideal candidate will have experience in high growth environments and strong financial modeling skills.

Who’s the business

Zanda is partnering with a high growth Series A, Technology business based in Marbella. With ambitious global growth plans they are looking to hire their first Head of FP&A who can lead scalable, data focused, commercial FP&A support.

Reporting to the Fractional CFO, you will take ownership of FP&A and strategic financial planning. You will be focused on modelling, reporting, budgeting, fundraising and supporting the senior leadership team with commercial insight as the business scales. Through your understanding of numbers, data, and business drivers, you will provide actionable insights and partner with the senior leadership team on commercial decisions. The Head office is based in Marbella and they are in the office 5 days a week.

What experiences you will gain

• Building and maintaining the financial model for the business, ensuring robustness and adaptability
• Business partnering with the Senior management team across the UK and Spain and producing financial and commercial reports to guide strategic decision making
• Developing and tracking revenue targets and leading the budgeting and forecasting
• Supporting the senior management team with investment decisions and creating funding scenario-based models, assessing impact on valuation and capital structure
• Creating high quality investment materials including pitch decks
• Utilising data to build out useful dashboards and providing ad-hoc analysis when needed

What background should you have before you press apply!

• Experience within a high growth, scale up within Technology (hardware and software) or Investment banking or Corporate finance
• Strong Excel and Financial Modelling skills
• Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to persuade and influence
