A leading company is seeking a Financial Manager to oversee financial operations, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with regulations. The ideal candidate will have a degree in Accounting or Finance, 3-8 years of relevant experience, and strong accounting skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and fluency in Spanish are essential for this dynamic role.

Formación

• Degree holder in Accounting or Finance or related discipline.
• 3-8 years’ experience in the financial industry.
• Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CFA preferred.
• Knowledge of Spanish local accounting standards and IFRS preferred.

Descripción del empleo

1. Oversee and manage the financial operations of a MiCA licensed corporation, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, preparing and filing of financial and tax returns.

2. Handle full set of accounts, including preparation of journal entries, accounts receivable and payable, bank reconciliation, cash flow statement, month-end closing, financial analysis.

3. Prepare internal financial reports to assist the Global Head of Finance in compiling group consolidated financial statements.

4. Assist in budget preparation and provide analytical reports.

5. Review and authorise daily payments.

6. Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.

7. Develop and implement financial policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

8. Coordinate and liaise with internal and external auditors, tax advisors and other departments from time to time to facilitate annual audits

9. Support the finance team and executive leadership with ad hoc projects and strategic financial analysis as needed.

10. Act as a financial liaison to regulatory authorities (e.g., CNMV, Bank of Spain), ensuring timely and accurate submissions of financial and compliance reports.

Requirements :

1. Degree holder in Accounting or Finance or any related discipline.

2. 3-8 years’ experience in the financial Industry.

3. Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge.

4. Well organised, self-motivated, independent, responsible and able to work under pressure.

5. Proficient in using Microsoft Word and Excel.

6. Fluency in written and spoken Spanish, at least conversational English, preferably fluent business English, but not mandatory..

7. Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, CFA, or equivalent is highly preferred.

8. Candidates who know Spanish local accounting standards and IFRS accounting standards are preferable.

9. Candidates who have a basic understanding of crypto / blockchain or digital assets are preferable.
