An exciting opportunity has opened up for a Head of Finance to join a rapidly scaling fintech innovator in the payment orchestration space. With four years of successful transaction processing and ambitious plans to expand across the USA and European markets, this is a high-impact leadership role at a pivotal stage of growth.

The company’s platform empowers businesses with global card processing and alternative payment methods, smart routing, fraud prevention, and real-time dashboards—all via a single API. Your Role:

As Head of Finance, you will lead the global financial strategy, operations, and compliance for a high-growth fintech organization. You’ll work closely with the CEO and executive team to scale operations, ensure financial health, and enable long-term success.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Strategic Financial Leadership:
    • Develop and execute a financial strategy aligned with expansion goals in the U.S. and Europe
    • Serve as a trusted advisor to the CEO and executive team on financial performance and risk
    • Oversee audits, tax strategy, and ensure full regulatory compliance across regions
  2. Financial Planning & Analysis:
    • Lead forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis across revenue streams
    • Monitor and optimize financial KPIs, including processing costs and customer profitability
    • Identify cost-saving opportunities while supporting continued growth
  3. Compliance & Risk Management:
    • Ensure adherence to regulations like PSD2, PCI DSS, DORA, SOX, and U.S. reporting standards
    • Implement internal controls and risk mitigation strategies
    • Advise on legal, cross-border, and Private Equity compliance matters
  4. Capital & Fundraising Strategy:
    • Oversee cash flow, liquidity, and working capital
    • Support equity and debt fundraising efforts and maintain investor relations
    • Build strong banking and financial partnerships
  5. Vendor & Partner Relations:
    • Collaborate on vendor negotiations and financial terms
    • Represent the company in financial discussions with external stakeholders
Requirements:
  • 10+ years in financial leadership, ideally in fintech, payments, or SaaS
  • Experience scaling companies in the U.S. and European markets
  • Expertise in financial modeling, forecasting, and cross-border regulatory environments
  • Knowledge of payment ecosystems, transaction flows, and revenue optimization models
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
  • MBA, CPA, or CFA preferred
  • Fluent in English; Spanish is a plus
