Berthon Spain are recruiting for the following position :

Head of Finance & Accounting

The successful candidate will be joining our established management team, working closely with our Managing Director. You will be based in our head office in STP shipyard, Palma and will be responsible for the day to day management of the accounting department.

You must meet most of the below requirements :

• Understand purchase & sales ledgers as you will be responsible for all transactions & reconciliations.
• Be able to manage the work in progress & stock reconciliations.
• Must be able to monitor the finances on our refits & projects and provide weekly updates to the project managers.
• Efficient in job costing analysis.
• Confident in managing all our banking transactions and reconciliations.
• Must be able to manage our monthly accounts and provide full analysis.
• Must understand the financial systems in Spain and be able to provide our tax accountants with everything they require.
• Fluent in Spanish and English.
• Familiar with the use of Holded accounting software.

Very competitive salary depending on experience plus company phone.

22 days paid holiday per year plus state holidays.

Full time contract, after initial trial period.
