DidaTravel International Limited is seeking a Market Manager (Head of Events & Tradeshow) to design, lead, and execute a variety of events globally. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in event management, especially in B2B sectors, and will enhance attendee experiences while managing logistics efficiently. This full-time role involves strategic development, vendor negotiations, and extensive travel.

Market Manager (Head of Events & Tradeshow)

Role description : Forming part of the global marketing team and reporting directly to the CMO, this position will design, lead, and execute a wide range of events of various sizes and configurations, both externally with our commercial partners and internally with our staff. Additionally, the role involves managing Dida’s tradeshow presence worldwide. We seek creative candidates with demonstrable experience in developing, leading, and executing high-quality events that enhance attendee experience and shape the perception of the company.

Key Responsibilities :

  1. Develop and implement a global event strategy aligned with Dida’s business objectives.
  2. Manage end-to-end event logistics, including venue selection, vendor negotiations, budgeting, and timeline management.
  3. Oversee large-scale B2B events (conferences, trade shows, roadshows, partner summits) across multiple regions.
  4. Develop and manage a sponsorship program, collaborating with Dida’s commercial teams to attract and oversee event sponsorships where relevant.

Attendee Experience & Engagement :

  1. Design attendee journeys to maximize engagement, networking, and satisfaction.
  2. Coordinate registration, ticketing, and event platform integration for seamless attendee management.
  3. Ensure high-quality content delivery, including speaker coordination, session planning, and interactive experiences.

Logistics & Operations :

  1. Lead on-site event execution, including setup, staffing, A/V, catering, and transportation.
  2. Manage relationships with venues, agencies, suppliers, and exhibitors to ensure flawless delivery.
  3. Oversee event technology (apps, virtual/hybrid platforms, lead retrieval systems).

Marketing & Promotion :

  1. Collaborate with marketing teams to promote event awareness, registration, and post-event follow-up.
  2. Develop event branding, signage, and promotional materials aligned with Dida’s corporate identity.
  3. Leverage social media, email campaigns, and partnerships to extend event reach.

Budget & Performance Analysis :

  1. Monitor event budgets to ensure cost efficiency and ROI.
  2. Measure success through KPIs like attendance, engagement, lead generation, and satisfaction surveys.
  3. Provide post-event reports and insights for continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Skills :

  1. 5+ years of experience in event management, preferably in B2B travel, tech, or hospitality sectors.
  2. Proven success in organizing large-scale, multi-day events with 500+ attendees.
  3. Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple events concurrently.
  4. Fluent in written and spoken English; other languages (especially Mandarin) are a plus.
  5. Expertise in logistics, vendor management, and attendee experience design.
  6. Familiarity with virtual/hybrid event platforms.
  7. Excellent negotiation, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  8. Willingness to travel internationally on a regular basis.
