Head of Engineering Circa 140K Euros + 10k Bonus + Shares Remote Flex with Office locations in the EU (Preferably UK, Germany or Spain)

About Us : We are currently working with a reputable award-winning organisation within the SaaS space. You will work closely with our CTO, CPO, Head of Product, and other key stakeholders to execute our bold product roadmap. Your role will include supporting efforts to attract and retain top talent while promoting a culture of collaboration and high performance. Additionally, you will play a key role in driving innovation within our product team, leading projects in areas such as big data, remote sensing, and machine learning.

Responsibilities :

• Develop software in large-scale production systems, ideally using Python, Java, or Golang.
• Implement microservice principles, event sourcing, cloud-native infrastructure, and follow clean code best practices.
• Knowledge of Kafka is a plus.
• Set up and manage CI / CD pipelines.

Skills : 8+ years of experience as an engineer in a production environment. 1-2+ years in a senior engineering leadership role such as Head of Engineering, Engineering Director, VP of Engineering, or similar. Hands-on experience managing global teams. Proven record in developing deep-tech strategies and supporting product roadmaps. Experience working closely with product managers, UI designers, and senior product stakeholders. Managing teams of 10+ and scaling them. Passionate about sustainability and making a positive environmental impact. Fluent in English.
