Morningstar Sustainalytics is hiring a Global Head of Climate Solutions .

This exciting new role will be responsible for designing and delivering on one of Morningstar’s most important strategic initiatives, enabling investor success as they consider the impact of climate change on their investment strategies and performance. The Head of Climate Solutions will lead the development, launch, and management of market-leading climate solutions for investors.

As a senior product leader, you will shape the future of investment management by understanding user workflows, driving innovation, and managing a global team to deliver impactful solutions. Your efforts will position Morningstar Sustainalytics among the leading providers of Climate Solutions globally.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a compelling vision for climate solutions in collaboration with Market Participants and Commercial Teams, informing overall business strategy.
• Collaborate with delivery teams to bring solutions to market in an agile fashion.
• Lead a team of commercial and technical product managers in designing and delivering climate solutions that consider emissions, transition risk, physical risk, aggregation, and other features.
• Oversee product development and enhancements, ensuring products meet specifications and timelines.
• Coordinate with relevant functional teams on product development projects.
• Maintain and update climate product development prioritization, collaborating with product excellence teams.
• Measure success through product adoption, user satisfaction, and market impact.
• Ensure product quality and oversee resolution of climate product defects, collaborating with support and client-facing staff.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with market participants and participate in client conversations as a domain expert on Sustainalytics climate products.

Key Success Metrics

• Product Adoption Rate : Percentage of target users actively using the solutions.
• Revenue Growth and Net Renewal Rates : Financial performance and revenue generated from climate solutions.
• User Satisfaction / NPS : Net Promoter Scores and user feedback.
• Market Impact : Increase in market share and influence within the investment management sector.
• Team Performance : Achievement of team goals, milestones, and overall productivity.

Requirements

• 15+ years of relevant experience, CFA required.
• 10-15 years in developing analytic and information products for investment managers.
• Master's degree in economics, environmental science, finance, or related discipline.
• Deep understanding of investor needs related to climate change, including emissions, transition, and physical risks, as well as market knowledge for sustainable investing information and analytics.
• Proven track record working with investment management clients and supporting sales processes.
• Effective, proactive team leadership with a history of excellent execution.
• Experience initiating and overseeing complex analytic product development involving multiple functions and stakeholders.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, planning, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
