AstraZeneca plc is seeking a senior technical pharmacology/AI leader to shape and execute the AI strategy for oncology clinical development. You will drive high-impact AI projects, collaborate across biometrics, regulatory, and study teams, and promote scalable AI solutions across the enterprise.

You will mentor junior scientists, collaborate with academia and industry, and represent the company at scientific venues to advance the AI roadmap in cancer biology and drug development.

Formación

• PhD in a quantitative discipline with 4-8 years post-PhD experience and measurable impact.
• Exceptional software development and coding skills; familiarity with agent frameworks.

Responsabilidades

• Define and drive AI strategy and roadmap for oncology clinical development.
• Lead complex, high-stakes AI projects across cross-functional teams.
• Evaluate and champion cutting-edge AI methods from problem definition to adoption.
• Embed AI solutions into clinical study design and decision-making.
• Establish external collaborations to access novel capabilities and advance the AI roadmap.
• Represent AstraZeneca at conferences and contribute to publications.
• Mentor junior scientists within the team.
