AstraZeneca plc in Barcelona seeks a Global Development Scientist in Clinical Development and AI to provide scientific and clinical input to late-stage product development and AI-enabled ways of working in respiratory and immunology.

You will lead design, execution, and interpretation of pivotal trials, collaborate with cross-functional teams, ensure quality and safety evaluation, and deploy AI solutions to accelerate development while maintaining GCP standards.

Formación

• University degree with extensive clinical development experience.
• Three or more years in multi-country pharmaceutical trials.
• Experience with Phase II/III trials in respiratory and immunology.
• Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally.
• Experience applying AI in clinical or drug development settings.

Responsabilidades

• Provide scientific leadership for late-stage trial design and interpretation.
• Collaborate with Safety, Regulatory, Clinical Operations and early development.
• Lead PhIIb and Phase III programs and support early-stage projects.
• Contribute to regulatory documents and interactions with authorities.
• Review data and literature for clinical decision making.
• Develop data quality metrics and review plans for studies.
• Lead AI-enabled use cases and drive adoption in studies.
• Ensure governance, data privacy, and human oversight.
