Job summary

Techmunity is seeking a Head of AI to lead the creation of a regulated digital health AI platform. You will build from first lines of code, define regulatory-path strategies and drive data and MLOps foundations across UK and Europe.

You will hire and mentor a small team while communicating complex AI concepts to clinicians, regulators, customers and investors. This is a remote-first leadership role with equity opportunities.

Qualifications

• Led applied machine learning in regulated digital health or life sciences.
• Hands-on ML work with statistics, evaluation and MLOps on health data.
• Experience delivering regulator-ready evidence (ISO 13485, 14971, IEC 62304).
• Able to lead a small team and explain AI to clinicians, regulators and investors.

Responsibilities

• Define and build first AI function, data and MLOps foundations.
• Decide feature priorities like risk prediction and personalization.
• Take models through UK Class IIb and US Class II regulatory paths.
• Hire first two team members and shape the engineering process.
