DeepRec.ai in Barcelona is seeking a Head of Machine Learning to set the AI strategy and lead the technical direction of the company.

You will design and deploy production-grade agent-based AI systems for complex, multi-step workflows, shape the architecture from day one, and work directly with the founders to translate bold ideas into scalable solutions.

This role demands hands-on backend work, strong ML instincts, and a track record of delivering reliable, low-latency systems.

Formación

• Strong Python backend and FastAPI experience.
• Production-level LLM applications with multi-agent architectures.
• Leadership in technical decisions on LLMs/SLMs.
• Focus on evaluation, observability, and reliability.
• Solid ML and NLP fundamentals.
• Experience with tool-calling, orchestration, and multi-agent systems.

Responsabilidades

• Own the company's AI strategy and technical direction.
• Design and build production-ready agentic AI systems for complex workflows.
• Implement tool-calling, structured outputs, and multi-agent orchestration.
• Develop evaluation, testing, and feedback frameworks.
• Deliver reliable AI systems with latency, scalability, observability, cost, and resilience.
• Transform manual workflows into deterministic AI-driven systems.
• Research and implement state-of-the-art AI technologies.
