ISP School Head of Admissions Role Profile

Purpose of Role

The Head of Admissions consistently works towards outstanding performance across all professional standards, ensuring safeguarding, successful outcomes, and the efficient and effective administrative operations.

ISP School Head of Admissions Key Responsibilities

  • Advise prospective parents and stakeholders on our value proposition (profile, program, fee structure, and all services provided) across communication channels.
  • Implement the school's admission process, including lead generation, family journey, customer service, negotiation, objection handling, call scripts, and parent communications.
  • Make calls to potential digital and non-digital leads to convert them into school tours and enrollments.
  • Organize admissions meetings and open events, ensuring excellent customer service.
  • Support the School responsible in assessing prospective students according to the admissions policy.
  • Design and implement policies and documentation related to student admissions (including admission toolkits, templates, scholarship programs) with stakeholder support following ISP guidelines.
  • Monitor and develop lead generation activities, working with ISP Heads of Marketing and Admissions to meet targets.
  • Collaborate with the Head of School and SLT to develop programs and campaigns such as referral schemes, scholarships, or partnerships with feeder schools.
  • Review and develop admissions documents, parent communication platforms, templates, and marketing materials to ensure accuracy and best practices.
  • Build relationships with feeder schools, nurseries, universities, local businesses, government entities, education agents, and other organizations to maximize recruitment and retention.
  • Support the Head of School in developing the school's communication and engagement strategy, promoting it within and beyond the school community.
  • Participate in conferences, events, and competitions to raise the school's profile.
  • Work closely with administrative staff to ensure positive first impressions and visitor experiences.
  • Lead direct reports to pursue operational excellence and customer service, reviewing systems regularly and customizing communication to maximize engagement.
  • Advise on ongoing support and communication with new families post-enrollment (after-sales care).
  • Ensure a customer loyalty program is in place and aligned regionally.
  • Own retention targets, ensuring data and strategies are in place to meet them.
  • Implement ISP customer service and experience standards, providing training for staff.
  • Analyze competitors with the marketing team.
  • Manage data and documents for all students.
  • Oversee entrance tests and evaluations for EAL and SEND needs.
  • Report KPIs to the Central Office.
  • Provide general administrative support as needed.
