Day-to-day responsibilities

• Collaborate closely within a cross-functional team, influencing product roadmaps and project priorities, designing solutions, and removing blockers.
• Maintain high standards of technical excellence, ensuring code quality through testing and monitoring, and providing constructive feedback.
• Stay updated on software technology trends and consider their application within Zava's landscape.

For this role, you will need

• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration in an Agile (Kanban) environment.
• Strong problem-solving skills, including debugging and analysis.
• An understanding of programming best practices and the ability to make informed decisions about technical debt and solutions.
• Experience with Amazon Web Services.
• Service and API development experience in GoLang, PHP, or NodeJs.

While not essential, experience with the following will help you get up to speed:

• Code versioning tools (e.g., Github)
• CI tools (preferably Jenkins)
• Docker
• Monitoring tools (e.g., New Relic, Kibana)
• Databases (relational and non-relational such as MySQL and DynamoDB)
