SenerAerospace and Defence is currently looking for a HW Electronics Designer to join our Avionics and Flight System Division at our Tres Cantos work center (Madrid).

We are a pioneering engineering company in the design of satellite technology and equipment for space exploration. In defence, we design and produce equipment and systems, including unmanned systems. What you will do :

• Detailed design of HW-Electronics (functions or boards) for space and defence applications.
• Preparation of design-related analysis and simulations (performance, FMEA, parts stress).
• Preparation of test plans and procedures.
• Characterization and testing of different designs.
• Support to requirement analysis activities : requirements assessment, criticality, complexity, cost-driving analysis, requirements flow-down.
• Documentation of the proposed design (design definition files).
• Support to other project areas such as Project Management, thermal & structural engineering, V&V engineering, PCB layout and design, manufacturing, and integration.
• Participation in the company's know-how evolution within the involved discipline.
• Contribution to design improvements (functions, tools, user information).

What we expect from you :

• High level of English.
• Highly desirable : experience in RF and high data rate board design.
• Skills in electronic design tools : schematics capture, analysis, and simulation.
• Knowledge and practice in related areas : programming in Python, C, C++, VHDL, basic Matlab, basic thermal concepts.
• Desirable : familiarity with defence or space development standards and norms.
• Willingness for digital / connected industry trends : data analytics, process automation, cross-collaboration tools, model-based engineering.
• A person driven towards traceable and rigorous work.
