The Technical University of Cartagena is hiring a Hardware Development Engineer for an exciting role in R&D for the European project FUSION. Candidates will be responsible for developing hardware components and sensor prototypes aimed at improving food traceability technology. This full-time position requires an Industrial Engineering degree and a Master's in Electronic and Instrumentation Systems, offering a gross annual salary of around €29,611.82.

Position Title: Hardware Development Engineer and Food Traceability.

Professional Category: GROUP I. Higher Education Qualification (Bachelor's Degree, Engineer, Architect, or equivalent).

Required Qualification: Industrial Engineer and Master's Degree in Electronic and Instrumentation Systems.

Other Requirements: Technical Industrial Engineering, specializing in electronics industrial and automatic.

Weekly Dedication: Full time (35 hours/week).

Working Hours: Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 14:00 and Monday to Thursday from 16:00 to 18:30.

Gross Annual Salary: €29,611.82.

Project Title: Association for Mediterranean Research and Innovation.

Duration: Contract duration linked to research line budget availability.

Tasks:

  • Design and develop hardware components for the European project FUSION.
