InterContinental Hotels Group in Barcelona is seeking a hospitality intern to support front desk operations and guest services. You will welcome guests, assist with check-in, and provide information about hotel services and room locations.

The role requires fluency in English and a proactive, energetic, team-focused attitude. It offers an internship arrangement with a minimum of four months and exposure to hotel operations and concierge services.

Formación

• Currently studying a bachelor’s degree in hospitality or related field.
• Possibility to sign an agreement with your school for at least 4 months preferably.
• Previous hotel knowledge and experience in operational departments will be valuable.
• Must be fluent in English.
• Proactive, positive, energetic, dynamic, emphatic, team-worker and with passion for service.

Responsabilidades

• Greet guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner.
• Check guests in and provide information on hotel services and room location.
• Ensure required identification is taken from guests at check-in in line with local requirements.
• Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure quality service.
• Assist with guest room tours, concierge tasks and special guest requests.

Welcome guests in a friendly, prompt and professional manner recognizing IHG Rewards Club Members and returning guests.

Check guests in, provide information on hotel services and room location.

Ensure required identification is taken from guests at check-in in line with local legislative requirements

Answer phones in a prompt and courteous manner.

Work as part of a team and communicate with other departments as per hotel procedures to ensure excellent quality and service.

Perform other duties as assigned including guest room tours, concierge services, special guest requests, etc.

Accommodating general and unique requests.
