CETRA BASE is currently looking for GSMC Operations Support Engineers to support EUSPA, the EU Agency for the Space Programme. Positions can be based at any of the EUSPA sites in Spain or France.

The ideal candidate has a University degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science and at least 5 years in space projects and in a similar role, with fluency in English and willingness to travel across Europe.

Formación

• University degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or Computer Science.
• 5+ years of experience in space projects.
• 5+ years in a similar role.
• Fluent English, written and spoken.
• Willingness to travel within Europe.
• Eligible for security clearance.

Responsabilidades

• Support development and maintenance of operational documentation.
• Create and maintain PRS operational procedures.
• Create and maintain the Security Monitoring and Cybersecurity procedures.
• Support the anomaly handling process related to the PRS from an operational perspective.
• Support the anomaly handling process related to Security Monitoring and Cyber Security.
• Coordinate operators' trainings & certification, exercises, tests and related activities.
• Plan and coordinate activities (LTP/MTP/STP).
• Identify and assist in developing use cases and improvements for the Security Operations team.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Support to the development and maintenance of the Operational documentation including Service Operation Organisations, operational policies, operational concepts for new functionalities and crisis response scenarios in support of Council Decision 2021/698.
• Create & maintain PRS operational procedures applicable to the GSMC operations during their lifetime, contributing to its validation and training.
• Create & maintain the Security monitoring and Cybersecurity procedures applicable to the GSMC operations during their lifetime contributing to its validation and training.
• Support the anomaly handling process related to the PRS from an operation perspective. Creation and follow up of anomalies
• Support the anomaly handling process related to the Security Monitoring and Cyber Security. Creation and follow up of anomalies from an operational perspective
• Support the coordination of operators' trainings & certification, exercises, tests and related activities.
• Support the planning and coordination of activities (LTP/MTP/STP)
• Identify and assist in developing use cases and improvements for the Security Operations team.

Essential qualifications and experience

• University degree in Engineering, Physics, Mathematics or Computer Science
• 5+ years of experience in Space projects
• 5+ years of experience on a similar role
• Excellent team worker
• Ability to work in a multicultural team
• Proficiency level in English, both written and spoken
• Eligible for security clearance
• Availability to travel within Europe

Security

In line with security requirements of the EU Space programmethe candidate shall be a citizen of a European Union state.

This position requires the candidate to obtain and maintain a security clearance.
