Totalum is an AI-powered platform helping companies build custom software faster. We seek a hands-on Growth Marketing Manager, AI & Automation to own customer acquisition and scale growth across paid, outbound, and social channels.

You will supervise AI-driven marketing workflows, improve prompts and automation, and drive measurable outcomes while maintaining strategic oversight and quality control.

We are looking for a hands‑on Growth Marketing Manager, AI & Automation to own and scale Totalum's customer acquisition engine.

This is not a traditional marketing role. At Totalum, many marketing activities are already supported by AI agents and automated workflows. Your job will be to combine strong marketing judgment with AI-native execution: running campaigns yourself when needed, while supervising, correcting, and continuously improving the agents that execute marketing tasks at scale.

You will own three core growth areas: paid acquisition, outbound prospecting, and social media, with a clear focus on measurable growth.

You will own three core growth areas: paid acquisition, outbound prospecting, and social media, with a clear focus on measurable growth.

Paid Acquisition

• Plan, launch, manage, and optimize campaigns across Google Ads, Meta Ads, LinkedIn Ads, and other relevant channels.
• Own targeting, campaign structure, creative testing, copy, landing page coordination, budgets, and optimization.
• Continuously experiment with audiences, messaging, offers, and acquisition channels.
• Track performance using metrics such as CAC, CPL, conversion rate, ROAS, and pipeline generated.
• Identify underperforming campaigns quickly and take corrective action.

Cold Outreach & Lead Generation

• Build and manage scalable outbound campaigns across cold email and LinkedIn.
• Define ICPs, prospect segments, messaging, sequences, and personalization strategies.
• Work with tools such as Apollo, Instantly, Smartlead, Lemlist, or similar platforms.
• Monitor deliverability, reply rates, qualified responses, booked meetings, and pipeline.
• Run structured experiments to continuously improve outbound performance.

Social Media & Content Distribution

• Own Totalum's publishing strategy across LinkedIn, X, and other relevant social channels.
• Maintain a consistent content calendar and ensure high-quality, frequent publishing.
• Turn product updates, customer use cases, experiments, trends, and company insights into compelling content.
• Test different formats, hooks, messaging, and distribution strategies to increase reach and engagement.
• Ensure all published content is accurate, on-brand, and relevant to our target audience.

AI Agent Supervision & Marketing Automation

A key part of this role is managing our AI-powered marketing workflows.

You will:

• Supervise AI agents responsible for campaign management, prospecting, outreach, content creation, and social publishing.
• Review their work and identify mistakes, weak outputs, missed opportunities, or performance degradation.
• Correct agent outputs before they affect customers, prospects, campaigns, or the brand.
• Improve prompts, instructions, workflows, guardrails, and feedback loops.
• Decide which tasks should remain automated and which require human judgment.
• Create quality-control processes that allow our marketing automation to scale safely.
• Use performance data to continuously improve both the marketing strategy and the agents executing it.
• Work closely with the product and technical teams when an agent or automation needs deeper improvements.

The goal is not simply to use AI tools. The goal is to build a marketing operation where AI agents execute at scale and an experienced marketer provides strategy, judgment, quality control, and continuous improvement.

What We're Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in Growth Marketing, Performance Marketing, Demand Generation, or a similar role.
• Hands-on experience managing paid advertising campaigns.
• Strong knowledge of Google Ads and experience with Meta Ads and/or LinkedIn Ads.
• Proven experience with B2B cold outreach, lead generation, and email sequencing.
• Experience creating and managing social media content, especially for LinkedIn and X.
• Strong copywriting skills across ads, landing pages, cold emails, and social content.
• Comfortable working with analytics, attribution, conversion tracking, CRM data, and marketing dashboards.
• Highly analytical and able to make decisions based on experiments and performance data.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving startup environment with a high level of ownership.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to identify when automated systems are producing incorrect or low-quality work.

AI-Native Mindset

You should be highly comfortable working with AI.

We are especially interested in candidates who:

• Regularly use tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, or other LLMs as part of their workflow.
• Understand prompting, context management, and structured AI workflows.
• Have experience with AI agents or marketing automation.
• Can debug an automated workflow and determine why it is producing poor results.
• Think in terms of systems and automation rather than repetitive manual processes.

Experience with tools such as n8n, Make, Zapier, Clay, Apollo, Instantly, Smartlead, HubSpot, or similar platforms is a strong plus.

• Generate consistent pipeline through paid and outbound channels.
• Improve CAC, conversion rates, reply rates, and campaign ROI.

• Increase the percentage of marketing operations that can be reliably automated.
• Catch and correct AI agent mistakes before they become problems.
• Continuously make our marketing agents smarter, more reliable, and more effective.
• Turn experiments and data into repeatable growth systems.

Who You'll Thrive Here

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys being both strategic and extremely hands‑on.

You should be comfortable launching an ad campaign, rewriting a cold email sequence, reviewing social posts, analyzing conversion data, and debugging an AI agent workflow in the same week.
