Descripción del empleo

The Growth Marketing Manager Plazo position is responsible for marketing and growth strategy for the Plazo project in Spain. To achieve sales and growth goals, keep the budget plan agreed with the CMO & Country Manager. Lead the local team and coordinate the strategy in SEO, PPC, Direct Marketing, Affiliates, and other strategic partnerships with the goal to secure growth plans.

Primary Responsibilities

  1. Define Strategic Plan:
    • Define strategy for company growth and sales targets per product (Plazo)
    • Define annual budget with targets
    • Manage online and offline strategy
  2. Negotiation:
    • Negotiate with partners and potential partners that could help the company's growth
  3. KPIs Monitoring + Reporting:
    • Analyze results with a business perspective, not only from a marketing point of view but also implications to related product and risk KPIs
    • Update daily and weekly reports
    • Create a specific monthly report for company investors
    • Participate in the company reporting meetings with top management
  4. Achieve Sales Goals (Monthly + Yearly):
    • The Growth Marketing Manager Plazo role for Spain is closely linked to sales. Achieving monthly sales goals is part of the daily responsibilities.
  5. Operations:
    • Create and prioritize tasks with Product and Risk teams to follow the strategic roadmap to achieve the company’s objectives.

Knowledge & Skills

  1. Knowledge / Abilities:
    • Knowledge of the latest online marketing trends
    • Knowledge in marketing management
    • Knowledge in economics and finance (key to lead growth in the FinTech sector)
    • Proficiency with Tableau, Microsoft Excel, Google Analytics, Google Adwords, Jira, and Confluence
    • Proficiency with online CMS and marketing tools: WordPress, Supermetrics, Semrush, Facebook Ads
    • Ability to achieve goals and work under pressure
    • Ability to work independently and lead different team members to achieve company growth
    • Ability to implement a marketing mix strategy in a fast-growing online company
  2. Skills:
    • Excellent leadership skills with a focus on reaching results
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Excellent analytical skills
    • Critical thinking (think outside the box)
    • Strong project management and planning skills
    • Proficiency in financial analysis to optimize growth with minimum cost
    • Market research and launch of new products
