Job Title : Group Consolation Manager

Location : Barcelona, Spain – Hybrid

Job Description

The Group Consolidation Manager oversees the consolidation, ensuring compliance with IFRS. They ensure the timely, accurate, and complete monthly CFO reporting and external result’s reporting (quarterly results updates and bi-annual consolidated financial statements). The Group Consolidation Manager leads a team of professionals and independently manages the consolidation process incl. analysis of consolidated results and consolidation tool.

Key Responsibilities

• Independently manage the monthly consolidation processes, ensuring an accurate and timely monthly reporting to the Galderma Group CFO
• Independently oversee and improve key consolidation process items such as eliminations of intercompany balances / transactions / margin, equity consolidation, scope adjustments, etc.
• Analyze consolidated results to ensure consistency, highlight trends, and explain variances as well as provide management with insights on the financial position / performance of Galderma Group
• Independently manage and continuously improve the consolidation tool (Oracle FCCS) as key user in close collaboration with the internal / external IT service providers, ensuring data integrity and system improvements
• Support the preparation of the consolidated annual and interim financial statements in accordance with IFRS, ensuring compliance with IFRS and regulatory requirements
• Act as a point of contact for local finance teams on consolidation and reporting matters
• Support special projects such as mergers & acquisitions, system migrations, or process improvements
• Develop and maintain consolidation policies, procedures, and controls
• Coordinate with external auditors during audit processes
• Lead a team of 3-4 professionals

Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
• CPA, ACCA, CA, or equivalent professional accounting qualification
• Minimum 10-15 years of experience in group accounting / consolidation roles or audit
• Strong consolidation and technical IFRS accounting knowledge
• Advanced knowledge of consolidation tools
• Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills
• High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure and to deadlines
• Fluency in English (written and spoken); additional languages are an advantage
