We are looking for a Group Brand Manager to join our Marketing team in Barcelona.
The role will be responsible for the overviewed brands and product strategy (including innovation) as well as media strategy and creative development. The position will have 2 direct reports.
Reporting to our Marketing Director, your responsibilities will include:
Brand / Product responsibility:
- Identify marketing key issues, strategic direction and work streams to grow the Lindt bars & snacks business in the future.
- Active portfolio management defining the right assortment, while ensuring profitability, quality and premium appeal.
- Create strong (re-)launch plans with the according support programme.
- Ensure the right promotional planning in close collaboration with sales and shopper department.
- Proposing and carrying out the appropriate market research.
- Liaising and coordinating with factories and logistics / co-packing.
- Define the communication strategy (TV, PR, Digital...) and execute marketing campaigns.
- Design key brand elements (ie. Print, POS) and consumer promotions in close collaboration with creative agencies and international marketing.
Permanent tracking of the key variables of the business:
- Continuous competitor analysis, in order to identify consumer needs, new product opportunities and market growth potential.
- Sales analysis (PowerBI).
- Nielsen/Circana/ Kantar/IPSOS/Other.
- Out of Stocks / Overstocks.
Actively steer the Planning Process:
- Marketing/Company Plan.
- Budget and Latest Estimates.
Control the Marketing Budget for their category.
Sales focus
- Collaborate closely with the sales team in order to define customer plans and sell-in presentations, as well as understanding the channels.
Internal meetings
- Participate in and prepare internal meetings as Monthly Sales Meeting, Sales Conventions, Brand Reviews, etc.
Experience & tools:
- 8+ years in FMCG (local or multinational – currently at least in a Senior Brand Manager position.)
- English: At least C1. Check in the interview.
- Spanish: Native or B2 minimum.
- PC user with high proficiency in Excel and Powerpoint.
- Familiar working with Nielsen and panel data.
- Familiar with Media planning & optimization, including digital.
- Sensitivity for developing Premium marketing elements.
