Job summary

GE Vernova is seeking a Project Engineering Manager to lead the electrical design and engineering activities for large energy projects, coordinating across global teams and vendors. The role requires managing scope, schedules, and budgets while ensuring safety, quality, and timely delivery.

You will supervise design activities, drive technical coordination, and support project engineering leadership in handling changes and interfaces, with a hybrid working arrangement from Madrid or nearby

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or equivalent education/experience.
• Experience as lead engineer in EPC environments.
• Proven project technical management in multi-disciplinary teams with multiple interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Define scope and engineering deliverables with responsible functions.
• Manage global schedule of engineering activities and link dependencies across disciplines.
• Plan and manage delivery of technical interfaces with partners, customers, and contractors.
• Ensure on-time design delivery to stakeholders with suitable quality and partner docs.
• Lead and coordinate design teams with Designers and other specialists.
• Monitor engineering budget and identify potential cost savings; flag variances to Project Manager.
