CATL is hiring a Technical Design Manager/Engineer to own the grid interconnection and compliance lifecycle for utility-scale battery storage. The role supports Grid and Project Development teams across EU and reports into the Renewable Project Development group.

The candidate should lead studies, coordinate with TSOs/DSOs and OEMs, and ensure energisation aligns with regulatory requirements while delivering bankable grid solutions for multiple projects.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or Power Systems, or equivalent.
• Master’s degree preferred for deeper grid expertise.
• Experience with utility-scale energy storage interconnections is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Own end-to-end grid interconnection, compliance and integration lifecycle for BESS projects.
• Lead grid capacity screening, interconnection applications and liaise with TSOs/DSOs/Utilities.
• Review grid studies: load flow, short circuit, harmonic, voltage studies and modelling.
• Coordinate with external consultants; ensure timely technical deliverables.
• Ensure designs comply with grid codes, interconnection standards and market rules.
• Maintain relationships with grid operators, OEMs and internal teams.
