Job summary

Amazon AWS Infrastructure Energy Team seeks a Grid Delivery Manager to own the delivery of high-voltage grid interconnection projects connecting the electrical grid to AWS data centres. You will manage the full lifecycle from due diligence through energisation, coordinating with utilities, TSOs/DSOs, regulators, and internal teams to meet timelines and budgets.

The role demands strong energy expertise, regulatory navigation, and a track record of delivering critical infrastructure under pressure

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of experience in electrical power infrastructure delivery, including high-voltage substations (GIS/AIS), underground/overhead cable systems, or grid connection projects.
• Experience managing the end-to-end delivery of power infrastructure projects, from design coordination through commissioning and energisation.
• Demonstrated experience liaising with Transmission System Operators (TSOs) and/or Distribution System Operators (DSOs) on grid connection applications, approvals, and interface management.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams (design, construction, environmental, procurement, real estate) to deliver infrastructure projects on programme and within budget.

Responsibilities

• Deliver large-scale HV/MV grid interconnection projects within EMEA under tight deadlines.
• Manage the full lifecycle from design to energisation; liaise with utilities, regulators, and local authorities to secure and deliver power infrastructure.
• Coordinate across design engineering, construction management, preconstruction, environmental, and real estate teams to ensure delivery to timelines.
