Hamilton Barnes is seeking a Power Infrastructure Business Development Manager to identify and secure electrical capacity for data center developments across Spain, with a strong focus on grid connectivity and energy markets.

You will analyse grid capacity maps and utility data, coordinate with development, engineering and strategy teams, and engage with utilities to secure timely grid access, leveraging Excel, GIS and automation tools where appropriate.

Formación

• Degree in Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 2+ years in energy infrastructure, grid operations, utilities, or electrical engineering roles.
• Strong analytical mindset with experience working with large datasets (Excel, GIS, or similar).
• Understanding of grid connection processes and energy infrastructure contracting is desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Analyse grid capacity maps to identify viable data center connection opportunities.
• Collect, download, and interpret datasets from distribution and transmission operators.
• Track grid capacity trends to anticipate future opportunities and constraints.
• Identify and evaluate new opportunities linked to energy availability and infrastructure expansion for data centers.
• Support applications for grid access and connection requests to operators.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align grid availability with data center pipeline.
• Engage with utilities, grid operators, and energy infrastructure providers.
