Job summary

CEIGRAM - Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM) is seeking a researcher for the LIFE-ACCLIMATE project focused on cultivating resilience in greenhouse crops through image analysis and early detection of pests and diseases. The role involves image acquisition, data annotation and model development within a multidisciplinary team.

The candidate will contribute to data preparation, analysis, and integration with decision-support tools, with training provided on annotation protocols and tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Physical Sciences, Mathematical Sciences, Computer Engineering or Agricultural Engineering.
• Demonstrable experience in research, technical support or experimental activities in environmental, agricultural, biological or agrifood contexts.
• Ability to learn and use the project's image annotation tools.
• Experience in data analysis, pattern recognition, imagery, GIS or sensor-based monitoring.
• Experience in data organisation, procedure documentation and quality control.
• Ability to work in a team and to draft technical reports.
